Sustainability and the protection of resources are high on the agenda at Jack Wolfskin. They believe it is high time to wake up and treat our planet much more responsibly. The Ocean T collection is the outcome of Jack Wolfskin’s collaboration with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE.

The Ocean T collection was made for adventure-packed summers and features a stylish graphic on the front. The T-shirt fabric is a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester made with SEAQUAL® YARN containing Upcycled Marine Plastic from the ocean.

Jack Wolfskin’s brand ambassador, the Steingässer family, were very enthusiastic about the Ocean T collection made in collaboration with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE. The ethnologist and author Jana Steingässer and the photographer Jens Steingässer have been traveling the world with their four children for eight years observing climate change, and are currently working on a wide range of aspects related to water as part of their environmental journal. “SEAQUAL is an important project to make plastic waste visible,” explains Jana Steingässer. “The plastic is no longer dumped back into the sea but brought to land and recycled.”

Jack Wolfskin is collaborating with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE to support ocean clean-ups to take action against marine litter.
