“I believe in the power of small individual actions to change the world “
I am a Marine biologist with a degree in Environmental Biology from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona , and a speciality in Marine Biology from the Universidad de la Laguna, Tenerife. I also have a master’s degree in Marine Mammal Science from the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
I have worked in many different countries, universities and companies investigating marine mammals: porpoises in Ireland, bottlenose dolphins in the Azores, humpback whales in Mexico, cetacean density in Macaronesia in Madeira, and bottlenose dolphins and their interactions with fishing vessels in Cadaques, Spain.
I am a nature lover, and whenever I can I collaborate to organize beach and forest clean-ups in my local area. I belong to a local naturalist association, and I am passionate about educating and raising awareness among people around me, particularly young people because I believe they will be the engine of the change that is coming.
