BekaertDeslee attended the Interzum trade fair in Cologne in May 2019 to present their revolutionary SEAQUAL Mattress made with SEAQUAL® YARN, and came away with the Interzum Award 2019. Mark and Michel from SEAQUAL INITIATIVE supported them there for their global launch of products made with SEAQUAL® YARN.

SEAQUAL Mattress textiles are durable and sustainable textiles for mattress covers that are made from plastic removed from the ocean and transformed into Upcycled Marine Plastic and then SEAQUAL® YARN by SEAQUAL INITIATIVE. SEAQUAL® YARN, a 100 % post-consumer recycled polyester fiber is subsequently used for weaving and knitting.
