This is what we do. Our process line step by step
We turn marine litter into textile solutions. Then, our community members use these materials to create their own unique products.
The more SEAQUAL YARN we produce, the more plastic is collected from oceans, rivers and estuaries.
THE PROBLEM
92% of plastics entering the oceans are macroplastics. Left alone, these plastics will break down into microplastics which enter the very beginning of the food chain, permeating through all species, including ourselves, with consequences which today we are only beginning to understand.

SEAQUAL INITIATIVE is a community with a single voice against plastic pollution. We bring together a diverse group of people committed to fighting plastic pollution. From scientists studying the impact of plastics on the oceans and human health to athletes achieving incredible feats to raise awareness about this global issue. We also have individuals who, with their small contributions, help raise awareness in their local communities. Every effort, big or small, is essential to tackling this challenge that affects both our seas and our quality of life.
